Onlife Health Shares Insights on Consumer Engagement for Health Plans During Web Seminar

Panel Discusses Power of Technology To Deliver a More Personalized Experience

Brentwood, Tenn., March 21, 2019—Onlife Health, a national company with 23 years of expertise in delivering comprehensive wellness engagement solutions, today participated in the web seminar “How Technology Is Supporting Consumer Engagement for Health Plans,” hosted by Health Data Management, an information resource that engages more than 214,000 healthcare IT professionals across all media platforms.

The hour-long web seminar, which took take place March 21 at 2 p.m. EDT, explored how health plans and health providers can incorporate technology to improve the member/patient experience. The panel also discussed different approaches for using data analytics to measure results, find new opportunities for improvement, and increase consumer satisfaction.

Leading the discussion were Catherine Bass, Ph.D., director of informatics at Onlife Health, Fred Bazzoli, editor-in-chief for Health Data Management, and Joe Van De Graaff, analyst for payer solutions at KLAS Research.

“Massive increases in the amount of consumer data available are providing both health plans and health providers with an unprecedented opportunity to transform the consumer experience,” Bass said. “Using data analytics to understand the needs, goals and preferences of the member/patient is the first step in creating a more personalized experience that builds long-term relationships and strengthens brand loyalty. We also see new opportunities in using data to identify and then address Social Determinants of Health, which have a far greater impact on health outcomes than genetics.”
