Onlife Health Teams Up with Validic to Integrate More than 50 Wearables and Devices to Track Wellness Progress

Nashville, Tenn., August 19, 2014 – Onlife Health, Inc., a national wellness company dedicated to transforming lives through healthier living, today announced that its members will soon be able to access their wellness data along with incentives across more than 80 popular wellness devices and apps. Powered by Validic, the mobile health industry's premier technology platform for accessing data, Onlife Health's device integration program will empower individuals to reach personal health and wellness goals by allowing them to choose the activity tracker that best suits their lifestyle and preferences.

"While an increasing number of people are using wearable devices to enhance their health, having the freedom to choose which one they use makes all the difference when it comes to achieving positive health outcomes," said Danny Timblin, President and CEO of Onlife Health. "We're excited to partner with Validic to offer this enhanced level of connectivity and flexibility for our customers."

Validic's innovative platform works seamlessly with Onlife's existing wellness program. It allows members to connect their favorite fitness devices or mobile applications while continuously syncing their data with Onlife Health's member-facing wellness portal. By December 2014, Onlife members will be able to log in to the web portal on the Onlife Health website to view a comprehensive listing of compatible devices, sync their preferred tracker, and view progress over time as displayed on the participant's activity dashboard.

"Our team is proud to work with Validic to provide organized and meaningful health and fitness data our members can easily use to lead better, healthier lives," said Debbi Brooks, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Onlife Health. "Through this partnership, Onlife's device integration program will provide access to the latest and most advanced mobile health innovations on the market."

Activity tracking is a rapidly growing method for encouraging health outcomes because it helps raise awareness and increase accountability for setting and ultimately reaching health and fitness goals. When used in conjunction with Onlife's health coaching platform, tracking devices can help both the wellness program participant and the health coach better understand and identify unhealthy patterns and overcome barriers to improving overall health. In addition, being able to see clear progress over time helps keep people motivated.
