Onlife Health Named a Winner of the Middle Tennessee 2016 Top Workplaces Award
Brentwood, Tenn., June 19, 2016—Onlife Health, a leading provider of population health management solutions for health plans, health trusts and employers, has been named a 2016 Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee by The Tennessean. Top Workplace award recipients are selected solely on the results of an employee survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.
Several dimensions of workplace culture and organizational health were assessed during the survey including alignment, effectiveness, connection, and leadership. Onlife exceeded industry benchmarks in five out of six categories as well as overall score for organizational health.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits.” said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.” Claffey added, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
“Inclusive in our mission to transform lives through healthier living is nurturing a work environment that enables our associates to be more engaged in their jobs, more productive and innovative, and more accommodating in delivering outstanding customer experiences,” said Danny Timblin, CEO and president of Onlife Health. “I am extremely proud and delighted that our team identifies our culture as one that is supportive in helping them realize their full potential in much the same ways they help plan participants achieve their goals.”
In addition to the Top Workplaces award, other recognitions earned recently by Onlife include Healthier Tennessee Workplace by the Governor’s Foundation, qualifying as an Approved Transition Program by the National Consortium for Credentialing Health and Wellness Coaches, Wellness and Health Promotion Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and Comprehensive Wellness Accreditation from URAC.
